Our Chautauqua experience was initiated by President Larry Butcher as a fundraiser in 2023.  President Butcher worked with the WV Humanities Council to secure a presenter. The History Alive! Program brings historical figures to life through first-person portrayals by presenters who have researched their character.  The programs provide entertaining & educational experiences by allowing audiences to explore history through interaction with important people from the past. Due to the success of the presentation, this has become an annual spring event. The presenters have received excellent reviews.  Be sure to watch for the next presenter.
